No Interest loans offer affordable finance to people on low incomes. There are no credit checks, and minimal eligibility requirements.

NILS (No Interest Loan Scheme) operates through community organisations.
Who Qualifies: Low income earners or health care card holders OR earn less than $70,000 before tax (single person) or $100,000 (couple or people with dependants) a year after tax OR if you have experienced family violence in the past 10 years AND you show you can afford the loan.
Borrow up to $2,000 for essentials such as appliances or furniture, car repairs or rego, a new phone or laptop, or medical, dental or vet expenses.
Borrow up to $3,000 for housing-related expenses such as bond or rent-in-advance, or for recovery from a natural disaster.
